Dr. M.R. Jaykar Employability Skills Programme

Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandir’s Maharaja Sayajirao Gaikwad Arts Science & Commerce College Malegaon-Camp (Nashik) organizes Dr. M.R. Jaykar Employability Skills Programme (Formerly Known as Soft Skill Development Programme) in association with Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). In consideration with needs of students, especially from rural parts and economically as well as socially backward class Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune has started soft skill development programme since 2007 in the colleges affiliated to SPPU, Pune. This programme is only for the third-Year students of arts, commerce & science. The syllabus of the programme is based on the National Skill Development Corporation of Indian Government. This of programme will be completed in any three months of academic year. The main aim of this programme is to develop effective communication skill, presentation skill, confidence level & behavior of the students. There are 20 offline and 40 online lectures. In this programme, we organize offline lectures on the topics like as Creative thinking, Interview Skills, Goal setting, Leadership and Teamwork, Communication Skills: listening and speaking, Concept of money saving, Investment, Insurance and taxes etc. The lectures are given by experts in the various fields. The 40 online lectures are conducted on the topics which would prove beneficial for their future carrier. Students gain tremendous knowledge, high level of confidence which help them upgrade themselves in their career as well as society.

  • To enable students, perform their duties effectively.
  • To make students competent with skills of effective and successful interactions.
  • To equip the students with skills those are mostly sought by employers.
